IPX8 Pressurized Immersion Test Chamber Manufacturer – BONAD Test Equipment
The main function of this equipment is to detect whether the performance of electronic and electrical products, lamps, electrical cabinets, electrical components, automobiles, motorcycles and their parts meet the requirements through waterproof tests, so as to facilitate product design, improvement, verification and factory inspection.
Features of IPX8 pressurized water immersion test equipment:
- All electronic components are imported from LG, Panasonic, Omron, Anliang and other brands.
- It has a time control function, and the setting time is 0-999 minutes. When the test time is reached, the pressurization can be automatically stopped, and the air in the tank can be automatically exhausted. The tester can open the lid to take out the test sample.
- There are water inlet valves and drain valves at the bottom of the water tank, and a 5-meter water pipe is provided.
- The base is equipped with four movable wheels with brakes for easy movement.
- Manual testing machine—-Use the domestic famous brand “Hongqi” pressure gauge (diameter 100mm, accuracy 1.6 level) to intuitively display the pressure in the tank. During operation, the pressure regulator is manually adjusted to control the test pressure in the tank. The pressure regulator has a voltage stabilization function, and can always maintain a stable test pressure when adjusting the pressure.

FAQ – IEC60529 IPX8 Pressurized Water Immersion Test Equipment
What is IPX8 waterproof testing?
IPX8 is a waterproof rating defined in IEC 60529, indicating that a product can withstand continuous immersion in water under specified pressure conditions without harmful water ingress. The exact depth and duration are defined by the manufacturer.
What does this IPX8 pressurized immersion test equipment do?
This equipment simulates deep-water immersion environments by applying controlled pressure inside a sealed water tank to evaluate whether products remain waterproof under extreme conditions.
It is widely used for:
- Electronics (smartphones, sensors)
- Automotive components
- Lighting & outdoor equipment
- Electrical enclosures
What is the pressure and depth range of IPX8 testing?
Typical IPX8 testing allows adjustable pressure corresponding to different water depths, such as:
- 0.05–0.3 MPa → approx. 5–30 meters
- 1.2 MPa → approx. 120 meters (depending on model)
What is the difference between IPX7 and IPX8?
- IPX7: temporary immersion (up to 1 meter)
- IPX8: continuous immersion under pressure
Can the equipment be customized?
Yes. The equipment supports customization such as:
- Test pressure range
- Tank size & volume
- Automatic vs manual control
- Test depth simulation
This ensures compatibility with different product standards and testing requirements.
