IEC 60529 IPX5 IPX6 Water Jet Test Chamber

The IPX5 IPX6 water jet test chamber evaluates the resistance of electrical and electronic enclosures to water jets according to IEC 60529. It features automatic flow control, interchangeable nozzles, a rotating specimen table and selectable fixed spraying or automatic vertical oscillation.

The integrated water tank, filtration, automatic water supply, drainage and circulation system support continuous testing. An ISO 20653 IPX6K configuration is available as an option.

For IPX5 and IPX6 testing, the test duration is normally calculated at 1 minute per square metre of enclosure surface area, with a minimum duration of 3 minutes. The test time can be programmed through the PLC.
