Core Mechanism:
At the heart of the ECT-RCT Pro Universal Tester are two precision-engineered platens (upper and lower). Designed to be sufficiently large and rigid to fully support specimens without significant deformation, these platens maintain near-perfect alignment (≤0.05 relative horizontal movement) and parallelism. The lower platen moves upwards at a constant speed, applying compressive force to the specimen placed between the platens. An integrated high-precision load cell within the upper platen continuously detects and transmits force data to the control system in real-time. This system accurately measures the maximum force per unit length a specimen can withstand before failure under compressive load.
